AWESOME CAR there Boss.
I have one in my slot box and it is my favorite Group 5 car. It's one of those that came to me with everything done correctly.
Hope yours is the same.
A pair of Paul Gage tires and it has been fast ever since.

I am a big fan of Sideways, great car for the price.
Can't go wrong with Jager, but still partial to the Pepsi livery.
Enjoy!

The Racer 935 is a great car! I'm building out one for a proxy now. I used the earlier white Gauloise body and added the paint and decals from Pattos. It goes very well....................
Nice gift!!
Now you can run your own Group 5 races.

I have that car as well. I love it!
As for the Dum-Dum mascot, they must only give those out to "special" people. Right Doc?

I really want to like this car because some of the liveries that Racer has put out are eye-catching, but I just can't get past those front wheel arches. Racer always morphs their cars a little bit in order to sacrifice scale accuracy for performance, but there is just too much empty space up there for me to get past.
Can you replace the front tires to cover the gaps? It looks like it would take some pretty serious doughnuts to fill that space.

I agree, I have a Carrera 935 and the front wheel wells are a lot tighter. It would take some serious front rubber to fill them up. I'm sure it handles better than the Carrera, it just looks odd.

Full disclosure- Despite my earlier comment, I bought the Valiant car from SCC today. I had been on the fence about it for a few days and then this thread comes along... It must have been the giant eyes on the Dum-Dum mascot that hypnotized me in to clicking "add to cart."
The wheel arches still bug me, but given the amount that you can move the axles up and down plus the replacement tires that are available, I'm open to trial and error until I find ones that fill the fenders enough.
Harry, Can you please add your tuning article for these to the HRW.com garage page next update? That's useful info. Thanks.

Man oh man I like it! I think it looks great, wheel wells and all. Another one added to my ever growing list!

Will do Goose.
You can try some slightly larger tires up front, but not much room to work with. The tire diameter is smaller so as not to rub the top inside of the fenders. Depending on where you adjust your front axle assembly will tell you how large you can install.
