Javelin - my number 1 purchase in 2016! The T/A set is Fantastic! And if the pic can be believed, the Penske car is the vinyl roof car!

Of the NEW molds, only the Javelin.
Some repaints of existing Trans-Am series I also enjoy seeing.

ALOT of good looking cars in there even if they are repaints. The Javelin and Mad Max are interesting..

They are also making a Ford Daytona Prototype. I hope that means the Corvette DP will follow later.

I guess Scaley isn't dead yet! Way to step up, Hornby! I'll be selling blood next year, it seems.

Jules at Pioneer was planning a Javelin, too. Hmmmm if it hits the shelves in the next year this could get very interesting.
I don't need the Mad Max but some of the other liveries look interesting.

Looks like I'll need to stand in line for this one too.

I don't understand the choice of a '71. Scalextric has '70 TA Mustangs, Camaros, and a Challenger. SCX has the 'cuda.
To me a 1970 Javelin would have been the one to produce.
There's always RMS....

The Javelin is on my 'get' list, but way too early to preorder in my opinion. I remember when the #41 Moffat Cougar was announced and was due out the 1st week of January, but finally arrived a year later during the fall.
In the mean time I have 2 RMS Javelins to carry the AMC banner.
As for a Pioneer Javelin, as long as they do some different liveries they should do well. I have Mustang and Camaro cars from Pioneer and Scalextric and they run well together, with Pioneer being a tiny bit faster on my track.

I'm guessing it is November of 16 when it comes out. I'm very much looking forward to having an AMC product I didn't have to build! Quite a few T/A cars and vintage GP cars I'll have to get.
