Looks good Bob.
I think these are one of my favorite cars to run.
Thanks for the story on the chassis upgrade.
Bob

That looks great. The SRC bodies were on sale in the UK a while back for a few pounds each so I bought two. I had been wondering what to do with them when along came the Olifer chassis similar to this. The interior will have to be cut to suit the Olifer chassis. Have you got some pics showing just how much you had to remove?
Thanks
Allan

I must admit that the stock/simple/crappy chassis is good enough for my home running, but it's neat to see that there is an option out there to turn them in to serious racers.
How much if the interior did you end up altering? The interior often binds with even the stock chassis, so I bet that was a bit of a headache to get past.
By the way, the long-tail versions share the same chassis, so this should work with both the SRC 907L and 908L releases.

There is a shelf about halfway down the interior and I cut just below it and I amputated the legs from the driver Everything fit after that. I will probably get a flat pan interior eventually. Racing rules usually state that the interior must hide the chassis or ground below. I could just place a piece of plastic painted black below the opening.

The SRC Porsche 907 is one of my favorite cars (short tail). I missed the fact the Changing Gearz had done a 3D printed chassis for it. Now it's on my list of cars that I need to build out. Thanks!

I previously mistakenly credited CG for this chassis. It is actually a design from another outfit called Olifer. They both work through Shapeways and I have ordered from them both.
