The Green Hornet Build...

I thought I'd share the build progress so far...
First off this is The Green Hornet "Black Beauty" 1/32 Scale "Complete" Slot Racing Kit by Polar Lights...
The quality is not great in this kit as the body is of a very old mold, and the chassis does not use great components...
That said, it's been a fun build so far...
Here is how she sits so far...

Here is a detail shot of the front showing the rocket launcher compartments closed as I did not like the look of them open...

Here is a nice side shot showing how low she rides...

Beautiful rear angled shot...

Here is the rear detail showing the rocket launcher doors cut off as I am fabricating new ones so the doors will be closed... You'll also notice that the taillights have been cut out as I am in the process of making the lenses for it...

This shows you the chassis mounted to the body... You'll notice a tab that's been attached to the rear of the chassis for a mounting point...

Here is a pic of the body posts that I made...

I also removed a couple of body lines on the roof that the real car does not have... Brass bushings have been soldered to the chassis front and back... New axles, gears, wheels, and tires as well...
I hope you've enjoyed the story so far...
Stay tuned for more...
Peace...
