Good news. Might actually do this.

The Renalt is even less quality than the Ferrari. Mine arrived and back on the shelf.

Well conti rowland is the guy that did the design for the Policar Lotus 72.
He was dissapointed with the performance of the SRC F1s and designed these to solve the issue.
Although the chassis is not expensive you still need to buy the Policar motor pod and gearing, but I know it will run better, and may give these Beauties some performance too.
The cars are too nice not to race with. At least thats my theory.

I agree. They are worth the extra to me. The fun of having them in more raceable form will be worth the cost of admission.

Shame though. Although I have the Ferrari in running form, the issues with the Lotus have really reduced the appeal for any more SRC models in my future.

Sometimes I wonder if they do this just because they know that the enthusiasts out there will buy the necessary upgrade components from Slot.it and SCC. Its like they know that if they make a pretty enough car that customers will be willing to spend $70 just to buy the body and through the rest away.

With the combined efforts of SRC and OSC getting together I think the mechanical, issues will be resolved in future releases. I certainly hope so as the cars are beauties. OSC does a good job on mechanicals so it cant hurt that they are now joined with SRC for future production.
