Great looking 'zine, guys! I've got that same Roth piece, new unbuilt in the box, which he also signed for me on one of his last visits to Long Island, along with some model kits and comic books.
You're 3,000 miles away, and still havin' the same fun as us racers in the northeast. ENJOY!! -- Ernie :>)

Hi Ron;
Is Elmer's glue available anywhere but Canada? I don't know the answer, but it started as a product of Borden Dairy in Toronto. Borden always had a display at the Canadian National Exhibition or the Royal Winter Fair, with two or more Jersey milk cows. The bull was Elmer and the cow was Elsie and they usually had some calves as well. I remember one was named Beauregard. I was less than 10 at the time, but we went to both events every year. I also remember the Borden milk wagon that delivered milk in glass bottles to our doorstep. It was pulled by a big draft horse that was trained to stand patiently at the curb while the milkman made his way up to the house. A little history, eh?
I expect, however, Borden got bought out by some multi-national company, so maybe they kept the name and sell it elsewhere as well.
Cheers,
Keith
ps I couldn't get your mag to download. The little wheel kept spinning, but never stopped. Would that be because I am on a Mac?

I just did some research. It confirms my memories, but also placed the current head office in Columbus Ohio. The glue line does appear to have been bought from the dairy. I don't know if it still is, but the original Elmer's white glue was a milk by-product.

Nice magazine. Will it continue to be free or will there be a subscription fee?
