My 13 yr old boy and my 4 yr grandson have basically been the control hogs on this set, I have only got to run them when trying to figure something bad out. But tonight me and the boy got to do some racing, we musta just raced 2 solid hours! What a good time we had. I need a lap counter now. This SCX Track I have is analog but it says all I have to do is switch out the control piece and install a digital one and I'll be digital. All my cars are analog so I am not wanting to go digital yet; but, on this control piece where the 110v plug is, there is also a plug that looks like a big telephone jack - can I plug in a lap counter to this and it still stay analog?

Sure can. Just get an SCX - 1:32 Scale Slot Car Track Race Manager from an SCX dealer. As you noticed, it plugs right into that phone cable style port. :banana-dance:
