Right now and probably only for a week or so the British pound is at a very low $1.38 which means items bought from Top Slots n Trains and Pendleslot are cheaper than usual, I just got a SRC Capri and the Policar spare parts set for the F40 for $55.25. I've been needing mirrors and wipers for a couple of my slot.it F40s

Does that include the shipping?

If you read the news this morning, you know the pound is in free fall. If Britain can survive, I am sure the exchange rate will continue to favor the US dollar for quite some time.

Head's up thinking, Bob. I try to keep tabs on the exchange rate as well, but this is the lowest I've ever seen it. If anyone has been waiting to buy from overseas, now is certainly the time to do so.
Honestly, I expected the Euro to take more of a hit than the Pound did following yesterday's Brexit vote.

Low isn't the word! When I lived there (many moons ago) it averaged $2.41 a Pound Sterling! Wish I had some extra cash, Pendles has several resin bodies I'd like to get.

What experiences have people had regarding VAT?
I've dealt with Pendleslot and Top Slots and Trains in the past, always receiving a price less the 20% VAT.
Today I got a reply from Winco concerning BEMO trains. They don't rebate the VAT so "everyone pays the same price". They won't be making a sale
Time on Google returned a website from the UK that said VAT was supposed to be charged on Internet sales to non-EU countries.
