What is the best wax for slot cars
It will help protect the finish and decals.

Harry polished my Brass-Am car with Maguire's when it was there, and it is a spectacular difference.

I do like Meguire's Gold Class. Same as I use on The General's 1:1.
No polish will protect that much, but it leaves a great shine and you can buff out some light scuffs that might occur.

Poo happens. I have to go tomorrow. Unless more poo happens.
I have to put everything away after the last race. Did I mention fixing a few cars?
Have a good evening.

Cobra,
Do you think that a clear coat over the decal first would prevent it from turning brown?
I'll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks for the information.

I have not seen any issues at all. Not sure what would cause it. But the wax drys and shines without any yellowing issues for me.

Car is still bright white and it's a couple years old now. It even has FUTURE as a clear coat.
If you have not bought it yet, then find a white color wax since this might cause an issue for you.
Point being just about any polish will give you a nice shine and help protect light scuffing.

Wobble, the car is an older MT Racing Stang he made. Based on cars raced in the Late Model series back in the 70's-80's. Basically the body was a "blank canvas" to work with and could have been made with much more detail. I just liked the looks as is.
I bumped the original post for you.
