Does anyone know how many variations of the Cheetah (1/32) were made? I have #11,#8, #14 and Aluminum.

I did a quick search and think you nailed it for 1/32 scale Carerra. I have the #8 and #14 and put PG tires on both. They are good runners on my wood road course.

I've come close to buying the #11, but also considering a MRRC Cheetah to round out the team. I have a MRRC Chaparral that I think is a slightly better runner on my track with stock tires. Yes, the Carerra Cheetah is priced right at $32, but the MRRC Cheetah's on Electric Dreams are $50, $62, and $80, and not out of reach considering what I've paid for other cars from the same era.

You have all the Cheetahs that Carrera has released (and maybe all they will ever release). Being an American car, I am afraid they will go the way the Hot Rods. I have said it many times before, the Cheetah is the finest car Carrera has ever produced. IMO the hood/bonnet on the MRRC Cheetah is too long. It almost looks like the old Manta Ray from the '60's. I really think Carrera nailed the shape and proportions on their model. BW, they are now fetching upwards of $150.00 for NIB.

Wow, $150... I have 5 of them now.. Seems like I bought one a while ago and forgot about it. Well, glad to know I have them all. They have all been tested a few laps, but not raced. May have to keep them that way. Maybe not... Bought 'em to have fun and always liked the real car.

I am not seeing the 1/32 versions in the $150 range? (plenty listed on line in the $30-40's both at hobby shops and eBay) - is that maybe for the 1/24 versions instead?

No, this was a 1/32nd that was sold on Amazon by my local shop owner. I really think that was a one of a kind sale, but, I can promise you they will appreciate in value, at least the ones that are NIB. Look at what has happened to the prices on the Hot Rods.

When Carerra re-released it I thought the price would come down so I could do a group purchase, but not yet.

Agreed, the Carerra Cheetah is the better looking, and $31.99 at Carerra Slots.

We didn't rerelease the car, more were shipped from China that were stored there.
