I'm having fun this morning taking pix of the DTMs that Carrera has done and I figured, it's Friday... why not have some fun and post them here.

At first when we released the 2-door DTMs a few years ago they were not going to come to the US. With a bit of arm twisting we got a few here that year and they took off. They sold well because they were embraced by the slot racers here in the US and Canada. We brought over more cars, and more cars and every time we get them they ALL sell out. So I also wanted to take the time to say thank you guys, thanks to everyone that has supported our DTMs here. Really... thanks.

I've never been into DTM cars much and we don't race them here but looking at these photos and having a quick brouse of the internet has made me want to try and twist a few arms and see if we can't include these too. They do look pretty good.

Yea Im missing the elusive white BMW bank M3. wish they would reissue them. Because these cars have great pricing i have many of them. A club in Austin has a class to race these. I started watching DTM races and there are lots of different liverys. We can hope Carrera can continue with the great work.

IMO these cars are better suited to racing than Trans-Am cars produced by others. Very stable, and most importantly they are durable

Of the some 20 Carrera cars I own these are the smoothest / run the best / most competitive model to model...I love them! :auto-driving:

As well as they do why are some of them so hard to find?...meaning, why aren't more produced to meet demand? I get that they sell well; therefore, aren't easy to find.

Never mind ...I looked it up....it's a series from over there

Carrera only releases 3-4 DTM liveries a year. I believe they came to the US in 2013, without even being in the catalog for that year, and sold well enough that they added the next year's releases to the US catalog.

Liveries that we're manufactured in 2012, 2013, 2014 are harder to find than cars that were released in 2015, 2016. The 2017 cars (I can't imaging Carrera would abandon this line) will be plentiful when that are released.

It's also interesting that the BMW has had a mold update.
