Came across a listing for this chassis (
http://www.mrrc.com/car-components/chas ... chsabstand). It looks like a sidewinder version of the Sebring chassis.
Has anyone used one?

Looks interesting. Good stuff on the website. Too bad the shipping charges are prohibitive.

I doubt that it will be picked up here in the USA. MRRC has a few other items that are quite nice and yet no American distributor has seen fit to import them. Example the four clubman kits.

Sidewinder for a slimline FF motor...looks good.
I wonder what gears will fit.

Pendle's doesn't have that sign anymore about VAT. For us on this side of the pond, that's a 20% discount. I hope Brexit didn't mess that up. I wrote them an email, so we should know soon.

That gearing seems a bit too tall for a slimline motor considering their braking effect and the wheels will need to be quite big to give clearance for the spur.
I would have thought 11:34 would be more practical.

Goose, where are you? I always got the full 20% VAT off the price from them.
