Javelin sighting!

Saw this a few days ago on the Scalextric website:

It looks like this may be a pre-prod car, at least from the quality of the paint and the missing mirror on the door. The tires are much better proportioned than the Cougar's original offering, so I'm happy about that. If it looks this good, I'll be getting a load of these for sure!

Overall, it looks like Scalextric have got a good looking model right there.
With the new inline motor set-up, it'll be interesting to see how it runs with the rest of the Trans-Am pack.

I'm all in. I happen to like this inline config.
Besides, it's a Javelin. I could care less if it was front motor using a Cartrix axle for a shaft.

That is on I have on my want list. The car looks real sharp, and with the inline set up , that will be fun to work with. :auto-driving:

It looks to me like he's wearing goggles but I guess we will have to wait and see.

The Javelin will most likely be my first Scalextric purchase in a long, long time. It's too cool of a car to pass up. Anyone know of a firm release date for the car?
Best regards,
Brian
