Same name not the the same company.
In the world of slot cars the name Polistil / Policar in Italy is synonymous with Scalextric in England. I believe the brand name was purchased by slot.it and perhaps others in partnership to produce the Policar cars.

I think if you have a look around the forum you will see our friend Andi Rowland has posted a lot about these cars. He is the designer of them and they are created by slotit.
Great cars, lots of fun , and no nails for axles lol.
There is a lot of new technology used in them which makes them unique and the styling is excellent. I am just waiting for the March to appear shortly.

ah yes we did, and I own them both myself, I was just saying that "if" it was the same company, they sure made a big turnaround.
Also was making lite of the inflated price of the e bay car with the nail axles. geesh

yea they ran pretty decent after the price of another car to get them there...so at $210.00 BIN price it`s just a tad high. Unless you want it for the collectible value. Says only issue is 2 tires are split, set of PGs and your good to go
