Been a very busy couple weeks. Seems between Shotgun Dave's vacation visit and our own vacation to see our new grand baby, time has really flew by.
See some new releases I hope to convince Santa I need :)

Not to mention I want to finish a couple project cars, in 1/32 and 1/25
So what about you folks? Have you been good and have your list to Santa all scrubbed and updated?
Hope all of you have a safe and fun weekend.

Grand kids
Got one who is 2 and another that is 3 months.
I live up North and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would stay here once I was retired. Then along came the Grand kids. Today was -30C and nothing else warms the Soul like the honest enthusiastic embrace of a 2 year old. Now I can't imagine being anywhere else even if it is bone chilling cold outside.
Best I will do at Chistmas is scratch building supplies, but that suits me just fine. Everyone knows I will use that stuff up.
Cheers
Dan

Well i too am looking forward to the family time . Grandsons that are 4yrs old and the youngest 20 months old. Seeing the excitement of Christmas in their eyes. My daughter and son in law preparing Christmas Dinner, and i will pick up my parents both in their 80s and we will have a good old fashioned family get together. Shopping just stresses me so i will be happy to provide gift certificates except toys for my boys.
And i will be quite happy with warm socks and new boxers. I dont need any ties thank you. Laughter and squeals of delight will be the order of the day.
And for any of you who aren't having a white Christmas , let me know as i will happily send you as much as you need lol .
Any other shopping will be in the realm of scenics with paints and grasses and trees and such.
To you all I wish a healthy happy and safe season with your loved ones.
Bob

it is interesting how grandkids can change your plans. I lived in Smithers BC, and my kids who went back and forth to Vancouver for school would come home at Christmas, and maybe one other visit per year. They met and married spouses, and suddenly the prospect of grandkids was on the horizon. The first arrived six years ago.
It was at that point we decided to sell our place in Smithers and move close to the kids and grandkids. We now have six, five granddaughters and a grandson, all under six, in four different families.
It is a good thing it happened though, as if we had stayed up north I might never have rediscovered slot racing.
Cheers,
Keith
