A second clear plastic display case from Carney Plastics. A little pricey but they are great for storing/displaying cars and keep the dust down a bit. They hold 24 but with smaller cars you can squeeze in a few more.

The only problem is that it shows your compulsive buying problem for the whole world to see. No more forgetting about things tucked away in boxes. :lol:

Sideways Group 5 Mustang white kit here. I don't think the wife realizes I'll be building it with hopes of racing out of town. Fortunately her greatest gift to me is that I've always been able to race whenever or wherever. Thankful all year round.

no slot stuff for me either
did get a voucher for the local hobby shop
so that will be used for for some more brass and paint
did get some cash as well which I will most likely spend at the only brick and mortar slotcar shop in NZ
which is a 4 hr drive away from where I am but I do have to go up that way in a few days to take my daughter up to stay with the grandparents
will be good to catch up with the owner and chat about a event with my club and his
his club is very new and they don't have much experienced members
so we are going to plan a build and race endruo mixing the 2 club members together in teams so us more knowledgeable guy's can show and explain how and why we do things the way we do
I just love passing on what I have learnt to others

I got to spend Christmas day with my Mom and Dad, taking them to my ,daughter, and son in law, and my two fabulous grandsons. I have to say being together beat out slots by a mile. And watching those two little guys on Christmas day is unbeatable. So i guess i got a day full of memories to keep.

Nothing for slots but a nice compact DeWalt battery drill and gift card to Home Depot!! Like others I can get whenever I want so Christmas can be just about any time for me!! Merry Christmas to all!!!

I got the Racer Ferrari 350 P Can Am driven by Chris Amon. A stunning car but then again, you'd expect it coming from Racer. Got to fix the bobblehead driver though.
