Avant chassis arrived

I ended up buying a bakers dozen of these chassis. The first 3 arrived today. Pulled the magnets installed some PGT's and set up the front wheels. The chassis beat my previous best 15 lap qualifying run by 7 seconds. The chassis came with an orange Long can ,aluminum rear wheels and a metal angle spur gear. For $10 / chassis there was not much to risk. Glad I bought them.
Surprisingly I never added any weight and the chassis just smoked my track. I am guessing those long cans are adding some magnetic downforce judging from what was reported on the TA proxy thread
Bought these on eBay from a Chinese surplus clearing centre. They arrived unbelievably fast. I didn't think I would see them until May!.
I am going to install an 18 k 130 and see what it does.

Yes, I was looking at a Porsche 956 that might look good on it. Will try some fitting out later.

Ok I just checked . I ordered this on March the 9th and they are unpacked and on my track today March the 15th!!!!! From China!!!! The Proxy car I mailed to Austin still isn't there going on 10 days.

Glad to hear it. I bought a few, and have already received ship notification but haven't seen the chassis yet. They are supposed to be fast. Sounds promising!

Those are 21k motors. Hopefully not being used in the TA proxy...

Thanks for the tip. I ordered four. I am not sure exactly what series I will use them for. I'll check the wheelbase when they come in and decide what they will fit under. My first notion was some roundy rounders. I also have a late model Trans Am series that I have been playing around with.

They have a long wheelbase and were used for the ALM cars. I cut my first one up this morning and made it it fit under a 917.
