I have had a couple of Fly F40s for quite a while, one is the Fly racing version the other is the standard sidewinder. The sidewinder was never a good performer unlike the racing version. Last week I ordered the olifer shapeways chassis to replace the sidewinder chassis. I decided on an inline motor pod, going this route forced me to cut away the bottom half of the interior including the driver, no other cutting was required. The conversion took about an hour. Had I used the Fly racing body no changes would have been necessary as it has a tray interior. Now it runs laps at the same speed as my slot.it and policar F40s. I will post pics later.

Wish they would provide tray interiors. To lazy to cut the interiors. Have a few chassis waiting to marry up to a body.

I too would like to see a better selection of tray interiors for 1/32 slot cars. But if you search ebay for 1/32 slot car interiors I think you will find one suitable for several different cars.

Will the Policar lexan interior work? I have them in stock just wondering for myself.

I found that other manufactures lexan interiors may will work well with minor modifications. I've had success using the NSR interior for the 997 in my Sideways 935 and 911s as an example. So my guess is the Slot It or Policar will be a close match.

Fly made a lexan tray interior for the racing F40. I wonder if it is available separately.
