Dave, I was worried you were going to be put off by me stripping your original paint and tampo job...
The real CJ cars, at least early in the season, seem to have leaned towards chrome reverse wheels. Ford buff books show them with any wheel the racers could think of later on. If Carrera made some '68 drag CJs, you could add the Ford-provided hood scoop. While some references say all of the original 50 had red interiors, photos and surviving cars reveal many or all had black. I picked red before I thought it through.
A Joniec-Ronda-Platt-Nicholson-(Jerry) Harvey set might have a real audience! Not everything sells, though, as you pointed out with the Lee Petty Plymouth.
