Just got around to opening the box from Scalextric USA. Inside was the new Opel Calibra for the classic DTM series.



Since Mom (The General) has been spoiled all day as she should be, My time has been limited in the Ye Olde Skunkworks. BUT she is relaxing now so I had a chance to sneak down and open it up.

As expected, it's a nice effort. Little lower than the Alfa too.

Ok so i am officially drooling. It looks great. I bet it will be a great competitor with the Alfa. Waiting on your usual quality assurance tests .

Very nice. Hopefully, it won't be long before SlotIt has a full stable of DTM cars available. We race two series at Cloverleaf Racing on Wednesday nights. It would be great to do a non-podded DTM with Carrera and a podded DTM with SlotIt.

It's not a 4 door!
