I used to run BWA and stock scalex rubber.
Any suggestions as to what tire and wheel combo will look decent? Thinking of Slot-it wheels but have no idea about sizes and tires as things have changed since 2001. Runny on Sport track for now, brass chassis no magnets.

I made a couple of these chassis for resin bodies I found on ebay.
This one is my "test mule" I used a carrera motor hot glued in place for easy changes, and some unknown slit it wheel and tire combo.

I've gone with a classic steel hub look with CB design hubs. An accurate look would be the inserts you see pasted above

Excellent, thank you all.
Think I'll be going with the machined CB Design wheels needing no inserts. I'm not trying to be totally scale accurate and outfitting a number of cars at once it'll save me a couple bucks.

Here in Portland we race without magnets on a mix of routed and plastic tracks. A few of the guys really like some of NSR's softer compounds, but most of us use urethane tires either from Paul Gage or BOSA.
