MRRC was some of my favorite cars, really loved the cobras and chaparrals.
Why did they go under, and when??
Sorry if this has been asked, I just could not find it. I'm watching vintage racing and drooling over a chaparral running well at mazda raceway

I had to get the new Ford MkIVs (red #1 and yellow #2) from England; couldn't find them in the States.

ok, thank you
Yeah, bit pricey indeed to import, and the sites selection of actual cars is poor, as in 1 car. Could do parts, but then we are up to a very pricey car indeed. Guess it'll be ebay snipping to score some.

Pendleslot has just a few cars but lots of parts. MRE has more cars but not that many.
As usual, check eBay. Lakota Collectibles, Power Hobby, and Electric Dreams offer cars there.

Did Professor Motor take over the rights to the Revell/Monogram cars? Is that the reason why MRRC no longer has them? I had heard the PM was going to be putting new chassis under these cars, but hat was about a year+ ago; I've seen nothing since that time.

Check out Top Slots and Trains. They have a couple of cars. You can get the Chaparral for $43 shipped. I've bought from them a few times. Takes 10-14 days to get item.

So... to get a bit more of "why"... the driving force years ago of MRRC was a guy named John, John died a few years ago and MRRC hasn't really had the strong direction (in my opinion) that it had years ago. REH in Cincy is the distributor for them here in North America.
