Grandson likes racing slot cars and likes the movie Cars so I thought I would get him a Lightning McQueen car.
Carrera seems to be the only option (I've looked once).
Are there any issues I need to worry about running Carrera cars on a Scalextric analogue track?

The Carrera cars will be fine. If digital flip the switch on the bottom if they've car does not run initially

I use them on scaley classic and it's fine.
Perhaps you will need to sand the guide a little.

I have Lightning McQueen for when grand kids show up, runs great on scaley track

Run them together all the time.
