Bill, glad Mark was able to get you sorted...
To just make you aware, what you were asking for is technically not a crown gear. Crown gears are for inline style drive car where the motor sits at a 90 degree angle to the axle.
The correct term for what you wanted is spur gear. Spur gears are used in sidewinder (like your car) and anglewinder style set ups.
I know I may be coming off as sounding nit picky, but as someone who use to deal with selling parts to customers, it really helps when people use the correct term for what parts they want. :D

There you go, Dickie. I was about to say the same thing. It isn't nitpicky when it comes to getting the right parts in the right place.
I would add that for our UK counterparts, a crown gear is called a contrate. In the 1960s, the term "crown gear" came about in US magazines, and at first, they actually said that the term contrate was the usual term in the early days in the UK, years before we in the US caught the slot car fever.
