This is the one modern GT model I have passed on. Just never got around to it with all the other slot car candy out there.
But when I saw this one with the scheme modeled after the comic strip Michel Valliant....I had to have it.

Runs nice out of the box, but I'll need just a touch of wheel sanding on the old Razor to get it just right.

I just got the Turner Racing Z-4 and all I have done is add a pair of PG xpg tires. Great car, my reason for wanting this one is the fact that I saw it race at the Rolex 24hr. a couple of years ago.

Didn't you do a PCS chassis on one as well?

Wednesday evening at my place three of us raced the new Scaley AMG Mercedes, new BMW Z4 and a sidewinder Ford GT2000, the Ford GT actually had about 50 grams more downforce than the BMW and Merc. After 4 three minute heats the Merc won by half a lap over the BMW and 4 laps over the Ford GT. All three had fast laps around 5.9 seconds but the two inline cars had more consistent times over all 4 lanes. The chap who owns and set up the Ford GT is now ready to buy one of the new inline GT cars.

P.S. we ran one heat in the dark (just enough light to see the track). That was sooo cool.

Thanks for the report Bob. Yes, those lights are just enough. Ran some myself and it was quite the sight. I might need to brush in some black in the rear to reduce the bleed though. Not a bug deal.

No time for any comparisons here but I look forward to it. The Merc is a tough customer.

In fact I have a new one in the way I think some will be very happy to see.

What is Vooaaw? Is it a sponsor, is it an anagram using letters from the names of three amigos pictured on the hood, is it onomatopoeia for the sound of the engine, or just a joke word? Can I get a phonetic spelling?

It is the artwork text In the Michel Valliant cartoon strip that describes the sound of a race car.

Nice looking car, but it reminds me of this car for some reason, LOL!
