Body twist solution...

I just got my first Thunderslot Lola spider the other day, and when I took it off the base I noticed it had been assembled incorrectly...the body on the right rear was warped almost 1/8"! The body was caught on the chassis...on the pod mount to be exact. Now the rear of the body sits cockeyed on the chassis. Any ideas on how to rectify this situation?

Can you return it for a straight one?

That is what I would try first.
I have used hot water/blow dryer to fix a few...but it's just not a safe play. Just don't like to tell someone to try that and have it just get worse.
Any of the dealers on this site will take care of you I am sure. Unless its second hand...

Ya, I've tried some of the usual solutions, but they've never ended well for me. I'm going to try a counter-acting twist over night...see if it straightens.

Sometimes...a few minutes in Mother Nature (the sun) helps.

Steel flat plate, magnets, and some warmth such as a light to give the area some heat.
Best bet is return and replace , but the above with warm water and time works for me.
I dont use boiling water , just hot enough to relax the chassis material.
Good Luck

That does work well for chassis fixes, but Doug had a warped body. I would go for a replacement or else you may find yourself caught in an endless compensation loop.
