Ford GTE preview of sorts

I had to take some pix while I still had all 3 of these cars together today. These are prototype samples of the new mold Scalextric Ford GTE that will come later this year. I'll ship them back to England tomorrow... then I'll be going to England this weekend for meetings next week (March 18-24) at the Hornby HQ which I'm told is south of London. Each is a different release. No. 68-August, No. 69-Nov., No. 67 is a special edition in August.

I guess I don't get it. You have to spend 3 times the money to get the exact same car in the exact same paint scheme with the only change being the numbers. :think:

real simple solution, buy the cheaper one(s) skip the expensive one, let the collectors buy it.
