Really like these Carrera Monzas! Hope to see more. I always thought Chevrolet treated the Monza like a step child. It had the power and styling potential to be the Camaro Z-28s fiesty little brother!

I have one of the Monza's from the first run. It sat on my shelf for a long time. Not that long ago I put on a pair of PG tires and trued them up. Man what a great runner on my wood track! Should have done that a sooner!

Then sounds like you have the passion for the car, so time to grab your tools and get to the bench. :) Passion for the particular car is step one.

Because it still takes someone to do the work, regardless of format. From my own view of the bench, I have many other things to shape/carve/mold that I want and will actually use.

Far as chassis go...well, you said it yourself. Lot of people talk about wanting these things...but when it comes time to actually invest the time, effort, and last but not least...the money for the quality running gear, we see very few completed cars.

Seriously, you should take a try at it. Create it and make the car you truly want.

I’ve been digging for pictures of the Interscope car with stripes and numbers but to no avail.
Might have to drop Ted Field a line and see if he answers.
