Had a chance to pop into Mark Twain Hobbies in old St Louie today after visiting the grandkids :)





What a stick. If I had not already ordered the latest Scaleys, I would have left with more.

But really...The FIRST thing that caught my eye were the new Revoslot MARCOS! Apologies locals, but they were not there long :)



The General got here Carrera Hot Rod and they had 1/24 kits on clearance for 10 bucks. Picked those up as at that price, it's worth it just for the decals.

Do not get in there very often, but great seeing the SLOT CAR section fully loaded and updated.

Good to see a thriving LHS. Or at least a regional hobby shop, because MT is big. I am sad to say that our LHS (plural), did not survive the financial collapse of '08. The last one was gone so fast I didn't get to go say goodbye. As much as I love doing business with SCC, Prof Motor, etc (saving $ while doing it), I miss browsing through the displays, walking the aisles, and all that.
