This is my vote or request for Scalextric to offer the Le Mans winning Pink Pig Livery on their latest 911 (997?) derivative. Mr. Kennedy sir?

It would get my vote though (and I've already suggested it... but got this in return)... Porsche will not allow it, we don't make the correct body.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I can understand Porsche (or any other company) having standards for accuracy and how their products are represented by the products of others. But darn! I love the Scalex Porsche and that would be such a great livery to have. Oh well...

Or maybe scalex could do the right car first...No one is doing the 911 RSR at the moment. I know, I know, it does not make sense from a financial point of view doing another mold only for this new version of the car.

Alrighty butcher boys - I believe there are decal sets available to decorate your own pink pig. I should do a 356. Hmmmmmm...

yes Pattos has both decals for pink pig and the Manthey liveries under porsche 911RSR

I am sorry for sounding harsh, but a 356 dressed with the Pink Pig livery would be an abomination.

Ya know... I was kidding about the 356 but honestly I feel the same way about the new one. Were it to be it would never grace a shelf in my collection.

THAT would be the model to remake. There seems to be no shortage of remakes with Capris, BMW's, Mercs,...

Let's do the Porsche and then the JAG Scalextric already has, could have a nice running mate.

Nor would I ever own a "Pink Pig" livery. I am not a huge Porsche fan. But, a well done 356 (coupe or cabriolet) would quickly find a prominent parking space in my garage. I would be very excited to see the old Jags too.
