I just won the Porsche 907L that Slotcar Magazine is giving away. I have been out of slot car racing for a couple of years for several reasons but was thinking a week ago that I want to get back in. This was a SIGN!

Ah so! It takes a divine sign to get you back! No wonder it took so long! Was it Socratic or Augustinian? Or maybe in the spirit of the wiley Abelard, my favorite sinner/theologian. Whatever, I'm very glad it happened, and congrats on the tasty new car!

Is it new or a restored Fly or what?

It is an SRC Porsche 907L according to the email. I read their online magazine and saw the giveaway and thought I would enter.

Maybe in a Pelagian or Molinist sense. ;-)

I have one of the 907K versions.....same chassis and gear/motor I think.
It's interesting....on a long track it's not as fast as a Fly. But on a shorter track it's just as quick and maybe faster; I think the spring loaded guide helps.

All in all it's not a bad car and easily upgraded with a printed chassis and pod if desired.
