Been a busy week around here. More home improvement duties but did find a little time to tinker.



My first PCR chassis. Honestly my cars well enough when tuned stock...but since they brought this chassis back, had to try it.

So working on that and a few new body molds.

What about you folks? Any fun plans this weekend?

Very busy week indeed.
I will be re-motoring a Fly Lola that currently has Pla-fit Rabbit power with a Piranha.
Also trying to finish up a Fly Ferrari 512S with my own 3D printed chassis, it needs body posts.

If time allows, printing and building a Porsche 356 and a custom sports car model.

I probably won't get it all done but gotta have a list....

Well hopefully I can get out of my slump this weekend and get busy building the Fiero again since it only lacks just the interior from being done. Its been hard getting back in the groove again after my best little buddy died of old age. At least we had one cold one together before she passed on. Sorry but it was my pet dog and I let her get a little to close. Anyway hopefully I can also get the modeling done on a sprint racer so it can be printed out and inline to be painted and assembled. Hope everyone has a great weekend with lots of slots involved.

Got a box with a few goodies in it, set up my honey comb board to start soldering up the drag chassis for the 1/24 scale models, and if I have time perp my rms bodies for paint. Guess you can say a fun filled weekend.

I know what you are talking about when you lose a pet. Had to put down a dog that I had for close to 9 years. One of the worst weekends I ever had. I feel for you

My dear old Basset Hound lady died at 22 years old (really old for that breed), a full 14 years ago, and I still think about her all the time. You're not alone.

I hope to finish up the '59 Caddy hearse and a '70 Mustang TransAm racer. I want to do a small review of a unique cheapo soldering iron, too. I got it at a grocery store! Limited, but it works great.

22 yrs is a very good long life, the coon hound I had was 11 or 12 years old, long story on why I had to put her down but I feel that it was the best . Hope to have pics up of the builds I am doing and if my count is correct I have 7 or 8 cars of different sizes going on. At least it is keeping me out of trouble.

I have a few projects to work on I have really been interested in Midgets lately especially after watching that episode of American pickers when they found that midget that raced out of Ohio it had a Harley Davidson Alcohol burning Knuckle Head motor what a Race car! I'll post some pictures of the chassis during the build and the the parts used.

Big Donkey (Larry Baisch) put me out of business making Monogram Midget bodies and Strombecker Dirt Track Racer bodies. My old molds (15 years or more) were in really bad shape. Any body needed so much work that I thought of making new molds. The few bodies I needed, it was a wiser decision to just order a few from him. Larry's bodies are as good as you can find, priced right and have all trim with them. Anybody wanting to build those cars won't go wrong with his bodies.

Be sure to show us your finished chassis for the Midget. Takes a good builder to make a nice chassis to fit the little midget.

For myself, some filling and sanding on the track I am building. Finally have all the wood work part done. This has been slow as I found I needed to change methods and some plans didn't work as I wanted so I reworked some stuff. I'll have a full thread when I'm done with building.
