Adjustable Sidewinder Chassis
Posted: Sun Aug 26, 2018 11:54 amI built an adjustable sidewinder chassis out of Brass and wire. Typically sidewinders are a hard set up to change gear ratios on. So I wanted a chassis that would allow me to slide the motor ahead or back to allow different gear set ups. I also wanted this to be universal so I could use on different bodies.
This is what I came up with. The motor pod and wheelbase pod are extended to show the relationship of the parts
