Slot Car Show Sunday 10/14 White Marsh, MD
Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2018 6:38 amNot affiliated with the show, EXCEPT that I'm setting up a rare, THREE lane Scalextric TRUE 1/24 slot car track on a 24'x5.5' table. I'm there to talk up the Interstate Home Slot Racers (IHSR) club, which has been active in the mid-Atlantic region since 1995. Last weekend's race in Darnestown, MD, attracted 15 racers from PA, MD, WVA, VA and Washington DC.
If you're with reasonable driving distance from White Marsh, MD and want to spend a day with slot cars, check out the show. From what I understand, there are 100 vendor tables.

HILTON GARDEN INN, WHITE MARSH MALL, BALTIMORE, MD at 5015 Campbell Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21236. Local phone 410-427-0600. Conveniently located off of Maryland INTERSTATE 95, at EXIT 67.
10 am to 2. $5 entry at 10 am. Early floor rights (while vendors are setting up) at 8 am for $20.
Come run some laps on track you'll likely never see again, and find out about IHSR!!! Shameless plug: Our next race day is on Saturday, 10/20 at a member's home in Charlestown, WVA. The track is a MONSTER 4 lane routed track. More like running a commercial track than a home track.
