I picked the car that is fun and easy to run. Plus, crash and not worry about parts falling off. #1

If I could pick just one , it would be the Thunderslot T70 or the Scaley 412P.

I think #8 and #9 should be an equal pair for the award. They appeal to the wide audience world wide. As much as we love our NASCAR from when it was actually NASCAR, it is ours alone, and rewarding Scaley as an HRW statement as a whole for that is a narrow and artificial USA choice, however much we appreciate it. That's just me. I voted for the Ford GT40 because I couldn't vote for both cars as a pair.

I love them all, especially the 412, but i goT caught up in the BRM 24 scale small cars, just received the new Mini. They run on 24 or 32 scale track and I am having a lot of fun with them

Gotta vote for the NASTYCAR Montes. Durable enough for kids, excellent for repaints, and one one of the greatest times for racing before it became so PC and corporate.

Even though I probably won't end up purchasing any of these cars (don't fit my tracks or series), my vote goes for the Monte Carlo. I celebrate the fact Scalextric opted to create a new mold which I see as a bold venture that hopefully will create a new niche in the hobby.

Revell-Monogram and Carrera made vintage (60's) NASCAR-like cars, and several manufacturers produced many more recent COT NASCAR releases. Now we have something to act as a seed for an interim era, mid 80's - 90's. I hope the Montes do well enough to show there would be demand for more cars from this era - Thunderbird, Pontic, Buick, and Oldsmobile. All of these brands finished in the top 15 in NASCAR points in 1986. Even with faux liveries many racers will get to recreate the feel of that era while modelers get to actually recreate the cars that represented the sport at that time.

Great car. I really enjoy the model. Thank you for voting!

Although most vote for it due to the advanced running gear and not the car itself.

I always like it when I can run a slot car of a real car that I saw race. And even though I had both rear bushing mounts crack while I was removing the rear end to replace it with upgraded parts, it still performs very well. Also, the front LEDs were pathetic, so I rolled my own and replaced them as well.

Just got a Revoslot Marcos based on the voting and Harry's review. Ran it around the track a few times, straight out of the box. What a cool/quirky/great car!
