Sous Vide.jpg
I used a Sous Vide slow cooker to straighten my chassis. I start at 180 degrees and then let it slowly drop to 130. I also put the pod and motor with the chassis using my Slot Car Corner pin gage to align the bushings.

Hard to figure what's in the 1st pic.
The 2nd pic I can make out a chassis and motor in a plastic bag...

Kind of a low rpm motor though. Seriously Mike did the chassis stay flat after it cooled? NSR seem to have a memory and go back. I have never tried the yellow chassis though.

Yes, Stayed flat. To be honest I messed up the first time and put the magnet too far towards the rear so the body posts wouldn't line up so I know it does move the chassis and stay that way.
I have a white chassis for a GT 40 that's really bad and could never get that straight. I'll give that a try. If that works then I know I've got the temps right.

Is that first picture pineapple chicken? Maybe it was mixed up on the film roll and you thought it was a chassis picture....
