I was in Tampa tonight at the War Eagle River track. Very nice track! 4 lane wood. Scott really knows how to host slot racing! Also comes with dinner! :music-rockout: he made Crawfish Etoufee! Amazing stuff. Never had this before, it was so good I had to take a carry out for home! Nice to meet some of the guys. Had a Great time! If your ever in the area look Scott and the gang up! Thanks Scott I'll be back

Crawfish Etoufee, eh? Hmmm. I smell a fellow Gulf Coaster here. And an Auburn fan, too. When I miss home, I miss the bayous along the Mississippi/Louisiana line (Geaux Tigers). My school band alternated between the New Orleans Mardi Gras and Mobile's, and I spent one summer working as a deck hand on a deep sea fishing boat out of Dauphin Island (spoon chum, bring beer, work the head, etc). Sound like familiar territory?

I had the opportunity to visit War Eagle River while on my Daytona 24 trip this year.
What started out as a really fun trip got even better when War Eagle River himself reached out to me to see if I wanted to stop by and run some slots.

Well it didn't take long for me to say #%^& yes and make my plans. Turned out to be a beautiful Tuesday mid day which was great as my wife got beach time, while I got slot car time!

Nothing formal just running some really nicely set up cars on his track with a few of the club members. I was in heaven!!

Scott was a great host and I had an amazing time racing and talking slot cars. I even may have heard a few tips to try out on my track. :D
