Hey guys uncle creepy here. Just opened up the slot it Porsche 962 AJ Foyt car. And what a reck . First off three of the four wheel inserts were floating around inside the box. Ok not a big deal but they would not fit at all I had to work to get them to fit . Also the wiper was not glued in.ok. Small stuff but it gets worse. The front wheels don’t turn why? Because they pushed then on so hard they bowed the chassis. And the hot water trick would not straighten it . I can tell you this I am going back to nsr cars and not coming back

Easy fixes. Where did you get it? Twist and pull the fronts a little and it will loosen up.
Sounds like one off. Never had an issue in all these years, so don't write off them off this soon.

I probably have in the neighborhood of 100 slot.it cars and none of them have had any similar problems. Seems to me someone at the factory was having a very bad day.

Could have been built on a Friday after a liquid lunch.

Slot.it will be embarrassed by this. They are fastidious about quality, and always have been, as far as I know. Contact them by email, see what happens. Gratification guaranteed, I betcha.

Yeah, this is way NOT like Slot it! Top notch company with top notch products. They will make it right. I certainly wouldn't go the route of not buying Slot it again. Although, I do agree that NSR cars are worth the price of admission as well. But, every slot car company has occasional problems ..... including NSR.

We see what slot it does sent an email to them . If they make good with a new chassis I will be happy. And I have about 30 of there cars but there chassis I have had the use the hot water trick to fix them but this one was so bad ! It got worse when I tried it the secound time. It as like I had used a heat gun on it . I’m thinking they had a bad batch of plastic because of the way it warped on the second time in the water

Sounds like your magnets weren't holding the chassis down tight or you simply didn't have enough of them in the right places to get the chassis flat when you added the hot water.

Well guess what last night I ordered a new car to replace the messed up Porsche. So I grabbed the second car that I already have the spoiler is lose in the box . Ok small problem well I take the car out of the box and it’s the same thing front axle will not turn and the chassis is bowed just like the first car now I’m really pissed off . And the place I got the car from is not at fault. This is a problem right from slot it . I hope there reading this . And I know they are a good manufacturer of cars and parts but two cars realy that just really poor quality control
