Well the weather turned cold again (-32C) so I had some brass and decided I would build a few Brass chassis. Inline with a drop arm was what I decided on. Built three in total.

First car up is the Cobra

Used Cox mag wheels for the rear tires, and went with some turned aluminum up front with some resin inserts I did up. Paul gauge vintage urethane tires all around Searching through my spare box I came across a Cobra shell that last saw the light of day about 15 years ago. A quick soak in alcohol and I had the shell back to the blue plastic. New paint, and I spent some time building an interior and detailed up some gauges. From brass I built the side pipes, roll bar and windshield

Searched through my stock of decals and found some appropriate ones

Ended up with this

Thanks guys. I haven't shown the chassis yet, but I like this last design. The drop arm seems to really help the handling.
