I've gotten some inquiries about NSR and Sloting Plus motors. Sloting Plus for example has two 21.5k motors with different mag ratings. One is 230gcm@12V and the other is 340gcm@12V. Has anyone used these, or NSR King motors and can tell me the difference in driving characteristics?

If I want to go fast and I've an adjustable controller and room to let it breathe, it's the NSR King every time. That being said, I've had success with the Scaleauto 17k Raptor against the almighty NSR King even with the RPM deficit. Not as much punch but infinity more driveable in the twisty bits - more of a momentum motor.

Thanks all for the feedback. The negatives were actually really helpful because we run on a wood oval, and Slick 7, HawkMB, and old Falcons work very well with 25 ohm controllers at 12 volts. We have restricted divisions that have a 21.5k rpm motor rule (limit). I am going to guess that added power and torque might make these attractive to my guys.

My takeaways are that they are good motors and worth the money, but driving style and type of track is going to matter a lot. Am I on track?
