I've got the same model and I love it. With a Slot.it orange endbell glued in, Slot.it 17x10 hubs (the Scaleauto inserts are compatible) axle, bushes and gears (34x11), glued and trued Ultragrips, a bit of work around the front wheels/axle and a bit of weight here and there it's a fun car to drive and looks really good. And I do enjoy taking on some of the Sideways cars with it and even coming out ahead of the odd one from time to time.

No doubt that with a generous helping of aftermarket tuneup parts this car can be turned into an excellent performer. I intend to go that route too. My evaluation was of the car as it comes in the box with basic tuning.

I think it was not a very good offering, their 935 is not a nice looking as the Sideways models, and the mechanics not so good.
But it is an old model about 3 years or more, so not the same quality as their newer home-set offerings.
I think now they are much better and you could find you will me more satisfied with quality

The Scaleauto Home Series are what they are...basically a Fly car re-wrapped. For about a sawbuck more, it's well worth going with the race versions.

You are entitled to every wrong opinion you hold, your country permits it.

It is when you state these opinions simply as facts that people are free to disagree with you, and correct the misinformation.

The Scale Auto Homeset car I just bought has none of this " The Scale Auto home series cars have straight axles with a flat key on the axle, they have grub screw height adjustable front axles, self aligning bushes on the back axle which are the same as Slot.it ones, and a lot of other things that make them better quality running than scalextric and much more than Fly."

It may be that mine is a one off car and the remainder of the homeset cars have the features mentioned but from my point of view they are virtually identical to the products from Fly. Please give a product number for a homeset car with those features.
