Has anyone ever removed an NSR interior from the body? Is there a way to do it without completely breaking the tabs that hold it in place? The tabs appear to have been hot melted from the factory. I need to remove the interior so I can put a head on the driver. Somehow slipped through the QC. :)

You will have to grind off those tabs. Don't grind away any more than you have to. You can use E6000 or something similar to hold the interior back in place. A few little dabs will do.

When I need to remove an interior that has been attached to a body by that method I use my dremel tool with the smallest grinding tip I can find and gently remove the melted plastic from the pin until I can pry the interior loose. If you have a grinding tool use the slowest speed setting.

Thanks again for the advice guys. Cockpit removed and all tabs intact. Now to add the missing drivers head. :)

Yep. Bob had the ticket. That's the best way. You can use a soldering iron to reattach by the same method that the factory used because doing it Bob's way leaves enough of the post to remelt.
