I just saw the new Lexus commercial. It started with slot cars. It sure made them look cheap and toy like.

I've seen that a few times. As long as there is thought given about slot cars, I'm OK with that.

I saw that ad the other day. It is kind of a slam on slot cars but is more about promoting the Lexus above the competition.

It sort of compares Lexus to other cars as Cheap and Toys

it's a metaphor...The Lexus is digital...in an analog world :banana-dance: :banana-dance:

It's a glorified toymota. Same people that brought you cars that don't stop.
The gas pedal caught in the floor mat was a ruse. The fix was the software update they don't talk about.

Then again, when was the last time anyone saw an add for slot cars on TV?
Maybe tyco in the early 80's?
I remember AFX on around Christmas when I was a kid in the 70's.

Hey , you never know , maybe some kid will see the commercial and want the slot cars , and maybe, just maybe his dad will get into it again .
