Not knowing a lot about these cars I was wondering if anyone has already sorted out the decals the Pattos offers to suit these two cars
He seems to do his NASCARs by number not car or year which makes it a challenge to find decals to suit these cars.
If looking on google are they both 1986 vintage cars? Should I search before or after that time?
I have done some search8ng and found some nice looking cars but the it seems that Patto doesn't do the decals eg #54 Kodak car
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
David

87, 86. Some teams used the cars a second or even a third year. Depends on if you are looking to do actual models or freelancing. I ordered a few sets last year but mine are mostly for freelancing/fantasy schemes.
Because they are not specifically made for these bodies, you will notice some of the decals will not fit properly. But even the cheap eBay decals that are claiming to, don’t.
He usually does just the more popular drivers, so it doesn’t surprise me that he doesn’t do Bierschwale. And his car was a Pontiac if I remember. You might have to mix and match some number decals to make this one in our scale.

David, on Patto's site, if you go to 'New Additions' and scroll down to the 29th April and further back, the new decals are listed there by year.
Hope this makes searching a bit easier.
Chris.

I also heard that you can ask him to scale them down a little, say 85 or 90% so they fit the Scalextric Monte Carlo body better. This is especially needed for the ones that go on the rear fender.

Thanks for the replies
One thing Bruce said you can do is print out the preview graphic at 100%. This is the size 1/32 scale decals come outta. You can then cut them out and trial fit them if to big scale on your printer to size and trial fit again once you know a percentage ask Bruce to print them at that size
Cheers

Unless you are dead set on using Pattos decals you might find something useful from Jim Heller on ebay.

Did you paint the Tide car or is that the wrap decal?

Why #54? From what i remember from nascar, the Kodak film car was almost always #4, Driven by Ernie Irvin.
Do you know it was 54?
I have a set from #4 Kodak 1/24 model kit. I could send you an image and you could reduce it and put on decal paper.
found it on pattos website. it is under #4 - Kodak - Rick Wilson - 1986

Got some #7 Alan Kulwicki ZEREX multi-color decals from Jim Heller for my T-bird. Looks to be a close fit. I took the side mouldings off the T-bird for a flat door. No way would any water slide decal go over the mouldings. Didn't look right on a race car, street car maybe. Going to do something with headlights and lower valance under the bumper.
