Removing Front Wheels from SRC Capri

I just got a new tire razor, and I'm going back and truing the wheels and tires on a few cars that really need it. I want to true the wheels and tires on an SRC Capri, but I cannot budge the plastic wheels on the front axle to get it off the car. I'm afraid if I use a couple of pliers I'll just wind up breaking the wheels. Is there a good way to do this? I have several cars with type of arrangement. Thanks in advance for the help. Glen

Well some will cut the chassis and then glue it back.

But, it's the way they are. They are likely cracked now...so twist and fix.

Had not thought about that. Thanks, Harry!

Hadn't cracked'em yet. Cut out two small chassis pieces, removed the axle, trued up the fronts, put on some nail polish and glued the pieces back on. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the help, Harry! Glen
