Allard Palm Beach Mark 2
Posted: Tue Oct 01, 2019 6:38 amHere's a shot in the dark. I've been attempting to replicate some cars from my past including a couple of short track racecars I used to own. I recently made contact with a gentleman who owns my dad's old Allard Palm Beach and he was kind enough to send me pictures. When my dad passed in 1963 my mom sold the car to the man who still owns it. I'm fairly sure I have never seen a model of this car anywhere since there were only 8 of them ever built. In fact my dad bought this car from England and it was the last car Allard ever built. Does anyone know where I might get a body like this or know anyone who could produce a resin body that dosn't cost a small fortune ? I'm still blown away that the car still exists. It disappeared from my life over 50 years ago and I had no idea where it ended up. A cousin saw it at a car show in New Hampshire last week and spoke with the man who owns it and it only went about 5 miles from where we lived back in the early 60s. Small world !
