Another week in the books! Weather has been crazy, but starting to warm up around here. That means some Spring cleaning. :)

Plenty of projects that will get attention around here. Finish up the Lister Storm, and get started on a couple more USAC type Carrera Road Runners.

I know some of you are digging out from heavy snow, hope all of you are doing ok.

MoparJenny is on her way back for a visit. Can't wait! :)

Just work, work and more work here....No time for anything but eat,sleep and work, 12 hr days 7 days a week until August. I think my kids even forgot who I am.

The snow's almost gone here, so its back to work going through my father's insane collection of crap. In 89 years, he collected many tons of what can only be called garbage. Yesterday, I put 17 more large boxes of old brochures, proposals, and magazines in the big dumpster I have rented. So far, I've tossed over 3 tons of printed material of one kind or another. I have sorted through 73 of over 100 boxes of the stuff. When that's all handled, there are 9 different full sets of magazines in the house to be hauled off. I needed to be younger when this fell on me. This is tough.

It was a very pleasant day, yesterday, even though it was mostly coudy. I'll take 62 over 35 anyday. The only bad part of the day was the brace that holds the muffler on the car decided that it was tired of holding it on. Must have been cracked for awhile. It didn't ruin the brace, but the muffler didn't make it, so a new muffler was in order. So $150 later, zoom zoom. :)

Laura and I went to the beach yesterday. We walked about two miles barefoot at the edge of the surf. It is something we call Earthing. It was a beautiful day in the mid 60's, something rare for the coast in NW California.

Friday night, I ordered my first slot car in 8 or 10 months. It was the Testarossa livery of the 356 Porsche. I ordered her from Brian at BRS Hobbies. I'm still doing my side trip into magsteer, slotless model racing. I have a small experimental track and a couple of cars plus an extra chassis. It's kinda like digital slot racing but without the slots, a hybrid between slots and RC.

Ya we did it right between our yogurt and fruit for breakfast and the tofu salad for lunch.

Are you allowed to say "yogurt" and "tofu" here on HRW :?: :D

Hate to tell you Roger, no rain expected until about the end of April. At least, not here anyway. You might get it a day or two before us.

Forecast for mid to high 30s (Celsius) until the end of the week. Just got the call for Fire Spotters to fly tomorrow and Wednesday. Possible dry storm with lightning activity Tuesday. Summer ain't over yet boys and girls.
