We all know that some of these older releases are just as good and as much fun as anything new with a little attention.
And with all the new members coming on board lately, I thought we should bring up some of our old go-to favorites.
What older releases are you still buying up?

Hey Leadfinger,
Those scaley CLKs look great with the change of wheels!
Wow!
They look really nice now!
I may have to pick a few up myself and do the same......

I try to grab old Carrera 50's racers whenever I can. Sure, some of them are over ten years old, but they still look right at home with some of the more recent Carrera and Ninco models:

Hi Goosenapper!
Great looking collection you got there!
I had the red Maserati years ago myself.
Great little car.
I wish Carrera would bring it back out again.....

I was playing with some of my old Artin cars today, the Porsche 997 car and the Mercedes DTM. After all of these years I still love them. On the other end of the spectrum, I am having a lot of fun with an older Ninco Porsche 356 coupe equipped with the Ninco 1 motor. I LOVE that car. Now I am scheming on how to get a bathtub roadster.

The Jag is possibly one of the top models Scalextric ever put in a mold for me. The interior alone is just one reason I enjoy it.

Having only gotten into this scale a little over two years ago most of what you old timers refer to as old was new to me. So I have acquired a bunch of old Fly and Scaley cars plus a few older Ninco models as well as Revell Monogram. But if you are talking about old 60's Monogram or other brands I have stayed away as many sellers have an inflated sense of what they are worth.

Good stuff.
Bob, I meant models in the last 5 to 10 years.

That's a SCX SRS2 Jaguar XJR14
The SRS2 line was the SCX "PRO" cars of the early 90's. I think that Jaguar was released in 1992 when Exin still owned SCX.
