Posted: Fri Jun 28, 2013 6:50 pmI love that car! That era of racing is among my favorites. She looks good with new paint. As for lowering her, I probably would do the simple raising of the front axle if she were mine, but................... she is a classic so I understand your hesitance.

The problem is Scalextric decided to put a 2mm plate under the chassis pan in order to mount the guide. If they had mounted the guide flush with the underneath of the car it would probably be alright.
I don't intend to race it, it drives fine so I think it is best to leave well enough alone

As for the front, I wouldn't change it. It looks like it would be right at home racing next to a Ninco Ferrari 250 TR.
