Harry in your review of the Lotus you mentioned the bad toe in of the front wheels. Did you find or try a solution for this problem? I just got mine and have had to do many things already to fix problems for racing with their March cars with MAG. The washer in between the axle and gear ,I had to add one for gear mesh. the smaller motor shaft did not allow the crown gear to do its job of keeping it tight. I also shaved chassis at rear to allow flat disk mag. for equal mag pull on cars. I was thinking of cutting tie bar on front and adding some type of pin hole tube for reconnecting? So back to Question on top have you tried anything? And have any others tried to fix this problem.
Fly did such a nice job with 761 March that the Lotus was a let down for sure. Next I will get a Williams and see what it has to offer?

I removed the centering bracket over the guide, trimmed the flap off and then re-installed it because it effects the height.

Then I just held the front wheels by hand where they appeared right and glued them in place. I used some Testors and let it dry.

The cars are working well here on the wood, and I added the second one.

Be wary of the Williams. It has that odd offset gearing that most do not care for. If you strip an inner gear...it's all over but the crying.

Thanks on the info on your Lotus. No support for the Williams also I suppose as in spares? I wonder if there is some way of converting it to a straight inline set up?
